Das EIAB beteiligt sich vom 10.09.2019 bis 31.08.2022 an einem von Erasmus+ (https://www.erasmusplus.de) geförderten europäischen Projekt. Dies wird unter dem Titel „Education of Future ICT Experts Based on Smart Society Needs (SmartSoc)”, von der Universität Zilina/Slowakei federführend geleitet (https://www.smartsoc.uniza.sk). Das EIAB ist als einziges deutsches und nichtakademisches sog. „Public Law Body“ an dem Projekt beteiligt. Im Mittelpunkt unserer Kooperation steht die „Smart Specialisation Strategy“ der EU (https://s3platform.jrc.ec.europa.eu) und ihre Umsetzung in Deutschland. Das EIAB wird sich zum einen bemühen, Organisationen und Unternehmen für das Projekt zu interessieren, zum anderen sich um die Problematik „Digitalisierung und Nachhaltigkeit“ kümmern. Die Arbeitssprache ist englisch.

Der 1. Durchlauf des Projekts hat am 01.09.2019 begonnen und sollte  am 31.08.2020 enden. Bedingt durch die Coronakrise musste der für 11. bis 25. Mai 2020 in Zilina/Slowakei geplante 1. Workshop abgesagt werden, an dem etwa 40 Studierende aus 11 europäischen Universitäten teilnehmen sollten. Aller Voraussicht nach wird dieser in der Zeit vom 14. – 25.09.2020 nachgeholt. Die Studenten werden dort Vorlesungen hören, interkulturelle Workshops und Veranstaltungen organisieren und Case Studies, die sie vorab über Fernstudienformate vorbereitet haben, präsentieren. Das EIAB hat in Zusammenarbeit mit der Dualen Hochschule Baden-Württemberg in Mannheim eine solche Case Study angeboten und betreut. Wir werden dort auch eine Vorlesung anbieten unter dem Arbeitstitel „Digitalisation and Sustainability or Sustainability and Digitalisation?“.

Der Corona-Pandemie geschuldet, findet der Workshop 2020 in einem Online-Format vom 2. bis 9. September 2020 statt.

Seit Januar 2022 beteiligt sich der Verein auch im 3. Durchgang des Projektes aktiv. In Zusammenarbeit mit der Wilhelm Büchner Hochschule Darmstadt betreuen wir eine Case Study, deren Ergebnisse in einem Workshop in der Zeit vom 9. bis 20.05.2022 in Valencia von den Studenten präsentiert werden.

Zusätzlich steuern wir zwei Vorlesungen zu dem Workshop bei. Bereits im April 2022 fand eine vorbereitende Tagung in Valencia statt. Dort wurde vor spanischen Gymnasiasten das Projekt vorgestellt.

Das Projekt wird federführend von Prof. Peter Marton von der Universität Zilina/Slowakei geleitet.
Das Projekt endet am 31. August 2022 mit einer Schlusskonferenz in Budapest.

Project Smart Society (SmartSoc)

EIAB participates in an Erasmus+ project (https://www.erasmusplus.de) from September 2019 to August 2022. The project is funded by the EU. The title of the project is”..” and will be led by the university of Zilina/Slovakia (https://www.smartsoc.uniza.sk) EIAB is the only German organisation in the project and the only Public Law Body. In the centre of our cooperation will be issues of the Smart Society Strategy of the EU (https://s3platform.jrc.ec.europa.eu) and its implementation in Germany. EIAB will try to interest companies and organisations for the project. Il will be also primarily responsible for the aspect “Digitalisation and Sustainability”.

The first run of the project started on September 1st 2019 and was planned to come to an end on August 31^st 2020. In May 2020 the first workshop was planned in Zilina/Slovakia for 40 about students from 11 European universities. Due to the Corona crisis the workshop will be relocated probably to September 14^th to 27^th 2020. The students will have lectures, intercultural workshops and events will be organized. Case studies have been prepared virtually per internet. The students will present them during the workshop. EIAB accompanied, together with the State University Baden-Württemberg in Mannheim such a case study. We will also give a lecture with the expected title “ Digitalisation and Sustainability or Sustainability and Digitalisation?”

Due to the Corona restrictions the workshop 2020 will take place between September 2^nd and September 9^th,  2020 in an online format.

Since January 2022 EIAB also takes part actively in the 3rd round of the project. Together with the Wilhelm Büchner University for distance learning we are active in looking after the work of an international student group working on a case study. The results of the case study will be presented by the students in a workshop in Valencia which takes place from May 9^th to May 20^th in Valencia. We will also give two lectures during the workshop. In April 2022 the project was presented in front of students from different Spanish schools. Head of the project is Peter Marton, professor at the University Zilina/Slovakia).
